Ah one more idea. Build your sword, or whatever, on a larger scale. It's easier. And when done you blueprint it and shrink it. As blueprints are scaled in all 3 dimensions simultaneously it's not an issue

Yea, a cylinder would be good. Though the sword will be very small in the end and such detail won't be visible to others. And it already looks very good.
